American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with at least 2 years of high-acuity ER experience and required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Job Details
• Position is in a busy Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center, • Patient population includes low to high acuity, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health cases, • Average daily census is 220 visits per day, • Night shifts are available as either 3x12 or 4x12, with shift times of 1630-0500 or 1830-0700, • Every other weekend is required, • All travelers must be willing to float within the hospital and to a nearby sister hospital, • Charting is done in Epic, Epic experience is required, • No call required,
Job Requirements
• Active RN license (WA or Compact) in hand, • Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience in a high-acuity setting, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, • Must provide at least 2 recent supervisory references from a comparable specialty or setting within the last three years, • Previous permanent staff must have at least a 3-month separation before returning as a traveler, • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility, • First-time travelers will not be considered,

• Must be able to work 3 out of the 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day), • Scrub attire may be any color except reddish orange, • Hospital pays for staff parking, • All RTO must be disclosed at the time of application; excessive requests may delay or hinder offer, • Pre-assignment modules are required and typically completed before start, • Travelers are expected to function independently in a very busy, high-acuity environment, • Facility is known for supporting travelers and often encourages contract extensions,], • hash,: • 9530725408682315001,
