American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certification.

Job Details

• Position is in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital, • Variable evening shifts including 11:00-23:00, 13:00-01:00, or 15:00-03:00, • Requires working every third weekend, • No on-call shifts required, • Epic charting system is utilized and experience is required, • Travelers may be expected to float to other affiliated facilities within the region,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of application, • Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required, • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS, • Experience with Epic EMR required, • Minimum of two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last three years, • Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay, • Pending licenses are not accepted,

Additional Information

• RNs must wear royal blue or navy blue scrubs, • Travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, • Former permanent staff must wait a minimum of 3 months before returning as a traveler, • Pre-assignment online modules must be completed before start and annually, • Free parking is available, • First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment, • All planned time off must be requested and approved prior to assignment consideration,], • hash,: • 14367676521933377786,
