• Work in the Emergency Department as part of a hospital float pool, • Patient population includes emergency and trauma cases, • Float assignments may be required within 60 miles or within a designated float zone, • Shifts available are 12-hour nights or mid-shift combinations starting at 1300, 1500, or 1800, • Uses Epic EMR system; familiarity is required,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license from state or a compact state; no pending licenses accepted, • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred, • One year of recent Emergency Department RN experience preferred, • Current certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or ENPC, • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required, • Must be willing and able to float within specified zones as per Float Agreement, • Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from all assigned facility locations, • Flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1-Mar 31); only medical exemptions accepted,

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordinating patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs, • Expected to perform nursing interventions such as IVs, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collection, • Will provide patient and family education and participate in quality improvement initiatives, • Delegates tasks to non-RN personnel as appropriate, • May act as preceptor or mentor for new staff or students, • Participation required in ongoing education and hospital/unit-based meetings, • Assignment limited to one calendar year after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning, • RTO must be requested and documented at the time of submission; no requests after offer, • Centura Health Float Agreement must be signed and acknowledged
