American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float Pool Emergency Room position with multi-site float requirements and evening/night shifts.

• Float Pool Emergency Room RN position within hospital settings, • Assignment includes floating to any unit within 60 miles of the original location in the designated float zone, • Patient population includes emergency cases across multiple CommonSpirit locations, • Evening, mids, and night shifts with variable start times ranging from 1 PM to 7 PM, • Requires flexibility to float to multiple facilities as needed, • Utilizes Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact); license must be in hand for consideration, • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred, • Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience preferred, • Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIHSS, and TNCC, • Experience with Epic charting preferred, • Completion of Centura Health Float Agreement required, • Must reside at least 60 miles from all location sites within float zone; no local candidates accepted, • All documentation and certifications must be complete and up to date prior to start,

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care including assessment, therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, medication administration, and patient/family education, • Must be able to float and work in various sites across the assigned region, • Responsible for delegating assignments and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, • Maintain compliance with clinical standards and hospital policies, • Requires completion of background check and drug screening before assignment begins, • Flu vaccination required between November 1 and March 31; only medical exemptions are considered, • Assignment limit is one calendar year, with a required 30-60 day break before returning, • No religious exemptions accepted for flu vaccine, • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to offer and cannot be requested after acceptance
