We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel position in Eastern New Mexico. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking to expand their careers and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Position Details: - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM - Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend required; floating may be needed, though it is rare. - Call: No call required. - Patient Ratio: 1:6, occasionally may go to 1:7 - Facility EMR: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System - Scrubs: Royal Blue - Max Requested Time Off (RTO): 1 week

Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience required. - Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred. - Acceptable candidates must be willing to undergo a fingerprint background check as part of the onboarding process, which can take several weeks.

Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg unit. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes. - Float to other units as needed, including ICU to assist with Med Surg overflow or step-down patients. - Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor while delivering care.
