Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring comfort and safety for each patient.

Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. - Administer medications and treatments, while ensuring thorough documentation. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care. - Maintain a clean and organized environment while adhering to infection control protocols. - Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities.

Requirements: - Current and valid BLS and ACLS certifications. - Previous experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred. - A permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility. - Valid state nursing license or eligibility for one.

Floating Requirements: Possible floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Facility Overview: - Number of Beds: Varies by facility. - General work schedule includes night shifts, primarily from 7 PM to 7 AM.
