Job Overview As a law enforcement officer, you will play a critical role in protecting high-profile locations and dignitaries. This position requires strong physical and mental abilities, as well as excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include: Providing protective services for sensitive areas such as the White House Complex and foreign diplomatic missions. Traveling with presidential and vice-presidential delegations. Enforcing protective duties as outlined in federal regulations. Required Skills and Qualifications To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria: Be a U.S. citizen. Possess a valid U.S. driver's license. Meet age requirements (20-37 years old or older with prior federal service). Carry and maintain proficiency with firearms. Pass regular vision and hearing tests. Pass random drug testing while employed. Complete intensive training at FLETC and specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
