As a Senior Business Analyst with Resource Data, you will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing and documenting requirements as needed, including determination of system impact and software configuration. You will also participate with customers and internal functions as appropriate throughout the development, testing, and implementation processes. You will also have opportunities to fully manage projects, working closely with the client to understand both their business processes and IT needs to deliver projects within scope, timeline and budget.Key ResponsibilitiesEliciting, maintaining, and translating business requirements from customer needs into technical requirements for custom software solutionsDeveloping project charters, budgets, plans, and overall scope for client-facing IT projectsWorking with project teams to document standards, project deliverables, and requirementsLeading and directing teams of software developers, business analysts, testers, and architects to deliver on client projectsCollecting information through subject matter interviews, business documents, project notes, and other contextual informationDocumenting technical and business processes/workflows in narrative and diagrammatic forms following Resource Data, client, and industry standards and guidelinesCreating test and validation plans to ensure solutions meet business requirementsMitigating risks and proactively identifying and resolving project issuesBasic Qualifications5+ years' experience on Agile software engineering teams writing business cases, gathering requirements, developing user stories, writing test documentation and more for custom software and COTS software development projects5+ years' experience with technical writing for audiences such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or other IT and business professionalsExperience leading teams of developers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts throughs structured software development projectsAbility to build rapport and earn trust with client teamsProven ability to manage projects with $100k+ budgetsProficiency with project management planning and reporting toolsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a closely related fieldWorked directly with customers in a consulting roleFamiliarity working with government agenciesCertifications: IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional, Technical Writing Certification, PMI - AgilePMP certification is a plus#LI-HybridAbout UsFor more than 37 years, we've designed and built innovative technology solutions for our clients most complex challenges.
