Role Overview:
The Head of Sales Finance leads all Sales Finance planning activities, providing analytical support to Sales leadership to optimize customer strategies, drive Net Sales and Profit growth, and ensure accurate trade spend forecasting within strategic and budget guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Sales Finance team to support sales and profitability growth through ROI analysis, pricing, promotion optimization, and strategic investment proposals.
Manage SKU-level P&Ls to ensure ongoing SKU profitability.
Conduct customer-specific analysis to identify improvement areas.
Forecast and report monthly Customer P&Ls.
Analyze trade data trends and identify drivers to support action plans.
Develop and maintain financial controls for trade spend forecasting and budget adherence.
Participate in annual planning, demand drivers validation, and trade budgeting.
Review and improve sales finance and trade management processes.
Managerial Responsibilities:
Evaluate, hire, train, and develop Sales Finance staff.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods or similar within a multinational, preferably in dairy.
MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
Strong background in finance, sales, category planning, and analytics.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI tools such as IRI, Spark, Reveal, Tableau, or Compass.
Ability to synthesize complex information and influence leadership decisions.
Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable to change, and results-oriented.
