Job Summary The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installation and operations of electrical systems for a variety of individual projects, each with unique design features. This person will assist in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, LabVIEW programming and installation of electrical components, wiring and systems. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed Perform soldering, rework, repair, and modification on high complexity PCBs in a development lab environment Set up and perform a variety of testing on electronic assemblies as directed by the Electrical Engineer Assist in design, build and/or procurement of new or improved machines, tools and fixtures and coordinating the implementation Install and integrate electrical components and wiring into various systems Familiarity with sensors, resistance temperature detectors, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and Flow Control devices Manage your time, workflow, and deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously Collaborate with Electrical Engineer to provide feedback on design concepts and improvements Qualifications/Skills Must Have Proficiency in: LabVIEW PLC (Ladder Logic) Must Have Experience with: Oscilloscope NEMA Enclosures and Control Panels ESD environments Developing test processes and procedures Electrical tools, i.e., multimeter, crimp tools and accessories Power supplies and meters Familiarity with: NASA-STD-8739.6b Knowledge of: Power Systems (single and 3 phase AC and DC) Data Systems Must have the ability to evaluate test data and present in a clear and impactful manner to various audiences IPC J-STD-001 certification (Preferred J-STD-001GS soldering certification) Additional Information Successful candidates must clear a background check Eta Space is an E-Verify Employer Eta Space is an EEO and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex or sexual orientation, or other non-merit factor Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee We encourage you to review our company website at to learn more about us.
