Our client is a industrial minerals producer nestled in California’s Mojave Desert, is hiring skilled professionals to support our plant operations in Trona, CA. This is your opportunity to step into a critical, hands-on role where your expertise in electrical systems, controls, and automation will help drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation. What You’ll Do: As an Electrical & Controls Technician , you'll: Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems, PLCs, automation controls, and high-voltage equipment Work with VFDs, HMIs, sensors, control panels, switchgear, and motors Program/modify PLC logic (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Read and interpret electrical/control schematics and technical documentation Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and boost system reliability Follow all safety and compliance standards (OSHA, NFPA, etc.) What We’re Looking For: Solid experience in electrical maintenance and/or industrial control systems Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment and PLCs Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced industrial environment Familiarity with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization Prior hands-on work in a plant or heavy industrial setting is highly preferred
