Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative with Aleman Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., (State Farm) you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
  • Answer questions related to claims and direct policyholder to central claims
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Provide quotes for auto and life insurance - sale of State Farm products
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to billing

Qualifications

  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass Property and Casualty License training and exam
  • Must be able to pass Life and Health License training and exam
  • Agent will pay for all training classes and exams including paid hours to complete courses online along with exams
  • Bilingual - Spanish a plus including and or other language skills
  • Good basic math skills a must
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Desire to pivot to sales while providing customer service
