: Parsons is seeking a dynamic, industry-leading Vice President & Manager of Engineering to lead our growing Parsons Federal engineering practice.

Location: Pasadena, CA (relocation assistance available) About Our Federal Engineered Systems Business Unit: We are a world-class leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients, with a history dating back to 1944. Our expertise spans land, sea, air, space, and cyber domains, supporting agencies like GSA, FAA, USACE, NAVFAC, USPS, DOE, NASA, and more. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a nationwide, multidisciplinary design team supporting multibillion-dollar projects. Supervise approximately 300 designers and engineers across the US. Ensure projects are executed on budget, on schedule, and meet quality standards. Lead bidding and proposal efforts, contributing to technical solutions. Engage with clients to facilitate technical discussions and business growth. Provide site leadership for Pasadena and oversee other locations remotely. Strategically plan engineering portfolio, staffing, and investments. Participate in professional societies and the technical community. Drive improvements in engineering execution and delivery processes. Contribute to Parsons’ leadership team, upholding core values. Plan regional growth strategies including real estate and staffing. Minimum Requirements: PE licensure in CA, VA, OH, IL, MI, NC, NY (or others with Officer requirements); experience as a firm qualifier/officer. Minimum 20 years of experience managing design projects, including engineering design and field engineering. Experience with DoD, DOE, and federal client design requirements, including DOE NQA-1. Proficiency in integrating engineering software data sets for deliverables. Project engineering and management experience. Experience working in a matrixed organization. Excellent communication skills and self-motivation. Knowledge of A/E services, Owners Engineer contracting, Design/Build, and EPC methodologies. Experience with Brooks Act / SF330 proposal development. Willingness to learn and utilize Parsons’ legacy of 80+ years. Willing to travel approximately 25-35%. Top Secret clearance preferred.
