Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in the emergency department setting • Operate Siemens and GE CT scanners including S3000 and Sequoia models • Conduct various CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction • Handle routine emergency department patients, code stroke patients, and Level II trauma cases • Prepare and administer contrast media when required • Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs as needed • Complete 150-200 daily scans with typical caseload of 8-12 patients per 8-hour shift • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Use PACS and Visage imaging software for image management • Maintain radiation safety protocols and procedures • Work in fast-paced emergency department environment • Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on census and skill sets • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (8-10 hours for acute care roles) • Work weekend schedule of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-hour night shifts • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Comply with facility dress code requirements (royal blue scrubs) • Adhere to fatigue policy of not working more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Complete required compliance documentation and lab testing within 48 hours of signing • Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months

Job Requirements:

Active, unencumbered license in NC

Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty

Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements

Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)

Two current clinical references

State-required professional license

Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)

TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)

Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)

Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations

Must pass background check and drug screening
