Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading $facility_type$ in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures in emergency department using Siemens and GE scanners • Conduct 150-200 daily scans across 4 imaging rooms • Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction • Handle routine ED patients, Code Stroke cases, and Level II trauma patients • Work in fast-paced emergency department environment with 8-12 patients per 8-hour shift • Maintain current BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications • Utilize Epic charting system and Visage imaging software for documentation • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when needed • Provide imaging services for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions • Work weekend schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (8-10 hours) • Maintain valid state licensure (NC or Compact) • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Adhere to fatigue policy limiting work to maximum 5 consecutive days and 60 hours per week • Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on census and skill sets • Comply with royal blue scrub dress code requirements • Complete lab testing and compliance documentation within 48 hours of assignment

Job Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered license in NC
• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
• Two current clinical references
• State-required professional license
• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
• Must pass background check and drug screening
