This role requires an experienced professional who will provide timely and accurate diagnostic services for both inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a Radiologist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in CT imaging and will be proficient in operating various CT equipment, including GE 16 slice Brightspeed and GE 64 slice VCT.**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures for various anatomical regions, including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.- Execute venipuncture for IV contrast administration as ordered by the physician.- Operate power injectors and administer IV contrast according to established protocols.- Conduct 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation.- Collaborate effectively with radiology staff and physicians to ensure quality patient care.- Maintain knowledge of CT system processing, surgical procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy.- Ensure compliance with departmental protocols and safety standards in providing imaging services.**Qualifications:**- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences.- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.- Current ARRT certification in CT and BLS/CPR certification required.- State licensure as a general radiographer is mandatory.- Proficient in various CT scanning procedures and techniques.**Additional Details:**- No guarantees for 48-hour response times.- The position is a contractor replacement, with one opening available.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
