**Job Title: CT Scan Technologist** **Location: Travel Position** **Shift: Weekend Nights (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and Thursday evenings (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)** **Duration: 13 Weeks** **Description:** We are seeking a qualified and motivated CT Scan Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will possess over 1.5 years of relevant experience and will be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences. The CT Technologist will be responsible for providing essential diagnostic imaging services and will work under the direction of a Radiologist, adhering to departmental protocols. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform basic CT procedures, including CT scans of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities. - Conduct venipuncture for injections and administer IV contrast as ordered by the physician. - Operate the power injector and perform 3-D reformats on the scanner/workstation. - Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients. - Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning and possess knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and processing of the CT system. - Be skilled in surgical/sterile procedures and studies with or without contrast media. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a CT Technologist. - Graduation from an accredited AMA school in Radiation Sciences. - Current ARRT certification in CT. - BLS/CPR certification required. - State licensure as a general radiographer. - Proficiency in operating GE 16 slice Brightspeed and GE 64 slice VCT equipment. **Position Details:** - Number of Positions: 1 - Contractual Weeks: 13 - Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
