Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex client engagements and providing expert tax advice to our clients. You will work closely with our team of professionals to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service and advice.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee complex client engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting services Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide expert tax advice Review tax returns and workpapers prepared by staff and provide guidance and feedback Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of client engagements Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients and staff Supervise and mentor staff members to ensure their professional development and growth
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA certification required 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Experience managing complex client engagements and providing expert tax advice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong leadership and supervisory skills
