Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location; Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and/or perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting concerns, and coordinating with site leadership and/or first responders as directed; Monitor access points and common areas, verify credentials as required by site policy, and document security-related activity in logs and/or incident reports; Support patient care operations by helping to maintain orderly public areas, providing directions, and assisting with visitor management and/or after-hours access procedures per post orders
