Job Title : Receptionist Job Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, and providing administrative support. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. The receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for visitors and ensuring smooth operations within the office. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls; take messages when necessary. Direct visitors to the appropriate office or personnel. Manage the appointment scheduling system and update calendars as needed. Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying. Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times. Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries. Assist with various office administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies or maintaining office equipment. Handle minor inquiries, and assist with customer service where needed. Support other team members with ad hoc tasks or projects. Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize efficiently. Proficiency with office equipment (phone systems, computers, printers, etc.) and software (Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling systems). Professional appearance and demeanor.
