**Overview**

**Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For," is looking for a Project Accountant to join our Denver, CO office!**

This is an in-office position on our dynamic regional accounting team at 6200 South Syracuse Way, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, Colorado.

This Project Accountant opportunity aligns with our regional growth. This role will train with our Denver Accounting team for 3-6 months before relocating to our Seattle office. This is a great opportunity to be part of our exciting accounting team expansion!

**Responsibilities**

+ Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition

+ Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines

+ Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis

+ Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system

+ Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing

+ Contract management and review

+ Coordinate and pursue receivables

+ Monthly travel to other offices within the region

**Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of accounting experience

+ Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree

+ Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals

+ High degree of professionalism and strong people skills

+ Must be an excellent team player

+ Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required

+ Experience using computerized accounting systems

Salary Range: $80,000-$92,000

Depending on applicable experience.
