Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Manager to lead a complex, multi-workstream device portfolio assortment planning initiative. This role spans across Windows Business Marketing Group (BG), Consumer Sales Organization (CSO), Device Partner Sales (DPS), Silicon partners, and regional leads. You will be responsible for aligning stakeholders, managing the rhythm of business (ROB), maintaining a comprehensive project plan, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic assortment plans that drive business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Assortment Rhythm of Business (ROB):
- Manage and execute the ROB across CSO, DPS, BG, and regional teams.
- Drive key stakeholder meetings, including agenda setting, note-taking, and action tracking.
- Consolidate and publish core content updates (e.g., presentations, scorecards, newsletters).
- Identify, document, and coordinate additional resource needs (e.g., Partner/Field ready content, QA, trackers).
- Cross-Functional Program Management:
- Lead and coordinate multi-workstream project teams across global stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting on progress and blockers.
- Support rollout (materials & training) of new assortment frameworks, tools, or processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline assortment planning workflows and tooling.
- Resolve project issues, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Hero Device & Key Beats Performance Tracking:
- Support tracking and analysis of Hero Device and Key Beats KPIs.
- Create executive-level dashboards and summaries that highlight progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Conduct lookbacks and calibrations to inform future assortment decisions based on mix, pricing, and volume trends.
- Hero Device Portfolio Management:
- Maintain the Hero Device tracker in alignment with DPS and BG.
- Ensure global consistency across CSO and clarity on Hero device lists, spec changes, and change management processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years MSFT experience
- Experience in Consumer Retail, Silicon and/or Devices Partners engagement.
- years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, data & reporting and category/product support roles. Change management a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in portfolio planning, data visualization, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; highly detail oriented.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
- Proficiency in Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Education/Experience:
- A degree or specific certification is not listed as a requirement or disqualifier for this role.
- 8 -10 overall years of experience in the field.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $58.00 - $65.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
