Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides essential resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Delivering compassionate care while ensuring the physical and psychological well-being of residents. Assisting with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more. Monitoring and recording vital signs and responding to resident needs. Aiding in food preparation and providing a pleasant dining experience. Documenting resident interactions and reporting changes in condition to the charge nurse. Providing basic housekeeping and laundry services to maintain clean living areas. Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs. This is an evening weekend position. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Minimum age of 16. Previous clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required, or must obtain certification within four months of starting. Annual continuing education of at least 12 hours is required.
