Your Role The Principal Network Security Engineer is a key technical leader within the Information Asset Protection team. You will design, implement, and enhance comprehensive network security solutions that protect both corporate and personal data. This role focuses on developing innovative network protection strategies, utilizing artificial intelligence, and adopting cutting-edge technologies to mitigate emerging threats to our network. Your Knowledge and Experience Core Competencies: Extensive expertise in network architecture, protocols, and secure routing. In-depth knowledge of Cisco technologies, including ISE, Umbrella, and Cisco Secure Access (ZTNA). Proficiency with Akamai solutions, particularly Web Application Firewall. Strong understanding of network threat intelligence, anomaly detection, and AI/ML applications in network defense. Experience with secure remote access technologies, VPNs, NAC, and identity-aware proxies. Solid experience with DevOps tools and platforms, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA and compliance-driven network controls. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in network security engineering, with at least 3 years in a principal or similar role. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or equivalent are preferred. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
