Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Principal Analog/ Mixed - Signal Design Engineer for a top client in the electronic component manufacturing industry. This is a high-level temporary onsite opportunity for an experienced circuit designer with a strong background in analog/mixed-signal SerDes architecture.

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite – local candidates only)

Pay: $95 – $150 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

What You’ll Do:

Drive architecture and design of high-speed SerDes (Serializer/Deserializer) transceivers Design analog/mixed-signal circuits including CTLE, DFE, FFE, PI, IQ generation, and clock distribution Contribute to clock generation circuits, bandgap references, LDOs, filters, and other analog blocks Optimize designs to meet performance, power, and area specifications Supervise floor planning and layout; work closely with layout engineers Participate in post-silicon bring-up, validation, debugging, and performance analysis Assist in defining specs and contributing to IP-level architecture discussions

What We’re Looking For:

MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in RF/Analog or mixed-signal SoC design Proven expertise in SerDes circuits and architecture (e.g., USB, PCIe, UCIe) Familiarity with analog/mixed-signal building blocks such as bandgap references, LDOs, PLLs, ADCs, and DACs Hands-on experience with ESD design, clock distribution, and high-frequency layout techniques Proficient with industry-standard EDA tools: Cadence, Spectre, Totem, EMX Scripting proficiency (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and simulation tasks
