This is a high-level temporary onsite opportunity for an experienced circuit designer with a strong background in analog/mixed-signal SerDes architecture.Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite – local candidates only)Pay: $95 – $150 per hour, depending on experienceEmployment Type: Temporary, Full-TimeSchedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hoursWhy Join Us?Cutting-Edge Projects – Work on advanced SerDes IP and high-speed interconnectsHigh-Impact Role – Contribute to full lifecycle development, from design to silicon validationExpert Team Environment – Collaborate with top engineers in the analog/mixed-signal spaceWhat You’ll Do:Drive architecture and design of high-speed SerDes (Serializer/Deserializer) transceiversDesign analog/mixed-signal circuits including CTLE, DFE, FFE, PI, IQ generation, and clock distributionContribute to clock generation circuits, bandgap references, LDOs, filters, and other analog blocksOptimize designs to meet performance, power, and area specificationsSupervise floor planning and layout; work closely with layout engineersParticipate in post-silicon bring-up, validation, debugging, and performance analysisAssist in defining specs and contributing to IP-level architecture discussionsWhat We’re Looking For:MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field7+ years of experience in RF/Analog or mixed-signal SoC designProven expertise in SerDes circuits and architecture (e.g., USB, PCIe, UCIe)Familiarity with analog/mixed-signal building blocks such as bandgap references, LDOs, PLLs, ADCs, and DACsHands-on experience with ESD design, clock distribution, and high-frequency layout techniquesProficient with industry-standard EDA tools: Cadence, Spectre, Totem, EMXScripting proficiency (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and simulation tasksReady to take on a key role in driving next-generation SerDes design?
