Conduct outbound prospecting to generate new leads and build a pipeline of potential clients. Use various channels such as phone calls, emails, social media, etc., to reach out to prospects. Identify and qualify leads by understanding the customers' business needs, challenges, and potential fit for Xero's solutions. Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos between leads and the sales team. The main goal of this role is to identify, qualify, and create leads for accounting software solutions, and then work directly with the sales team to close deals. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Must have: 1+ years experience in a sales role with outbound cold calling experience, held to a sales metric and quota (i.e., SDR/BDR/BDE). Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education required. Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot. Experience with Slack or similar communication tools. Ready to work exclusively on outbound lead generation. Experience generating leads and building prospect lists. Desire to grow a career in sales. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and changing environment. Could also have 1+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (outbound calls to candidates). Nice to have: Prior experience in a SaaS company preferred. Experience working with small businesses. Disqualifiers: Not suitable for customer service roles—seeking true salespeople only. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.23/hr.
