As a Full Time Paramedic, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Huntsville, AL. Schedule: Rotating days each week, 6:00am-6:00pm. This is not your typical EMS space, we have a great team, and we have a lot of fun! What You'll Do: Assess nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance Administers initial treatment at emergency scene and takes and records patient's vital signs Initiates intravenous fluids to administer medication or drug cardiac monitoring Administers injections of medications and drugs Communicates with physician and other medical personnel in person and by radio-telephone Keeps current on treatment techniques, protocol changes, material, and equipment Prepares required reports and maintains records of activities Cleans assigned emergency vehicle Conducts safety inspections, requisitions and restocks supplies, material, and equipment May require other duties as assigned
