Paramedic - Huntsville AL

As a Full Time Paramedic, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Huntsville, AL. Schedule: Rotating days each week, 6:00am-6:00pm. This is not your typical EMS space, we have a great team, and we have a lot of fun! What You'll Do:

• Assess nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance
• Administers initial treatment at emergency scene and takes and records patient's vital signs
• Initiates intravenous fluids to administer medication or drug cardiac monitoring
• Administers injections of medications and drugs
• Communicates with physician and other medical personnel in person and by radio-telephone
• Keeps current on treatment techniques, protocol changes, material, and equipment
• Prepares required reports and maintains records of activities
• Cleans assigned emergency vehicle
• Conducts safety inspections, requisitions and restocks supplies, material, and equipment
