DESCRIPTION The Grant Coordinator provides key support to UCP Seguin's institutional giving efforts by assisting with internal and external grant project coordination, prospect research, proposal development, and reporting responsibilities. Working collaboratively across departments, the Grant Coordinator will ensure the timely preparation and submission of compelling grant materials and will help coordinate internal processes for data and documentation collection. The Grant Coordinator supports the Director of Grants Administration and reports to the Vice President of Development as part of the broader Development Team. Assist in identifying new funding opportunities, help coordinate grant-related activities across departments, support proposal development, and take the lead in submitting timely and accurate reports. This position plays an important role in building and maintaining funder relationships, managing internal workflows, and contributing to UCP Seguin's goal of expanding institutional support. The Grant Coordinator will contribute to the management of the following categories of institutional giving sources, in coordination with development leadership: Foundations, corporations, business and social organizations, and other private entities through grant requests and reports. Public and legislative funders (including city, county, state, and federal agencies) through competitive proposals and required documentation Capital and infrastructure-related grant opportunities
