An established practice in Merced, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their primary care team. This will be a full-time role (40 hours/week) with a Monday-Friday schedule. NO call or weekend requirements. New graduates with an active CA State License are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:

Full-time schedule (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)
NO call or weekends
Conduct a comprehensive health assessment with head-to-toe physical exam
Address all health conditions with recommendation on care plan
Reconcile medication list, review and update pertinent history
Order lab and preventative screening tests
Review and communicate test results with patients
Provide wellness and disease management education to patients
Complete documentation timely and accurately
Provide patients with excellent visit experience

Qualifications:

Active California State License
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (EMR)
