The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will lead the financial planning, forecasting and decision support for the commercial, delivery and operations teams reporting directly to the CFO. Supporting strategic decision-making, including product profitability, contribution margin analysis, analysis of new business opportunities, capital investment ROI and annual budgeting. This role requires advanced strategic thinking and communication skills, as the director of FP&A collaborates closely with senior leadership. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensures best practice commercial and analytical finance support is provided to the CEO, CFO and executive leadership Plan, forecast and report processes of the company, including monthly forecasts, annual budget and five-year business outlook Drive the annual budget and monthly forecasting process while providing visibility on profitability, efficiencies and key operational performance metrics Prepare monthly and quarterly financial analysis reporting to aid in the understanding of key business activity for operational decision making Identify, track and forecast the main drivers and transactions of the organization Oversee and lead the development of financial models for budgeting, forecasting & Adhoc Analysis Identifying trends and making recommendations for financial and operational optimization Drives financial process and technology improvement efforts incorporating best practices and innovation 3 days required on site, 2 days remote Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (MBA preferred) 5-10 years experience in finance, accounting and planning with career growth reflecting progressive responsibility and authority Demonstrated history and deep understanding of FP&A principles, forecasting, and analysis, with a focus on partnership and stewardship of financial resources Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. Strong budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and financial modeling experience along with a solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards Strategic thinker who can translate financial data into meaningful metrics that drive business decisions Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and EPM solutions. (NetSuite or EPM implementation, a plus) Advanced MS Excel and modeling skills Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail Results driven
