QualDerm Partners is excited to announce an opening for a Dermatology Medical Assistant (WLM) to join our exceptional team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs and detailed medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and dermatological procedures, ensuring that instruments are ready and available.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen preparations for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications efficiently.
  • Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare instructions.
  • Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary medical supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software applications.
