QualDerm Partners is excited to announce an opening for a Dermatology Medical Assistant (WLM) to join our exceptional team. Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs and detailed medical histories.
Assist physicians during examinations and dermatological procedures, ensuring that instruments are ready and available.
Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen preparations for analysis.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications efficiently.
Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare instructions.
Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary medical supplies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical setting is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy healthcare environment.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software applications.
