Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule • Required to work 2 weekend shifts per pay period (two weeks) • Night shift position with first-to-float requirement • Must have more than 2 years of CVICU experience • Required to take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract (must score 80% or higher) • Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity in 12-bed unit • Must be experienced with IABP, CRRT, and fresh open heart surgery patients from OR • Required to titrate drips including Dexmedetomidine, Propofol, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Levophed, Insulin, and Cardene • Responsible for reading telemetry strips using in-room Nihon Khoden monitors • Holiday requirement with call/standby requirement (maximum 3 per 12 weeks) • Float to ICU/PCU/MS/Tele units at both campuses as needed • Navy blue scrub color required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS • Impella experience desired • Unit-specific orientation provided • Experience with Cerner charting system • Care for patients with AMI, CAD, PVD diagnoses • Work with RT equipment including ventilators, BiPap, CPAP, Vapotherm, and HiFlow

The unit specializes in caring for patients with acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and peripheral vascular disease, with capabilities for advanced cardiac support including IABP, CRRT, and post-operative open heart surgery care.
