Creative Content Specialist Central Church Reports to: Communications Director Job Type: Full Time, on location Job Summary The Creative Content Lead is responsible for creating and managing high-quality multimedia content that supports the church's mission, vision, and ministry goals. This individual collaborates with ministry teams to tell compelling stories, capture impactful moments, and communicate clearly across digital and in-person platforms. The ideal candidate is a great writer, strong creative, organized, skilled in social media strategy, and passionate about using media to glorify God and reach people for Christ. Key Responsibilities Write video scripts, social media captions, website content, etc. in an established brand voice & tone. Develop a strategic approach to content creation (content calendars, analytics assessment, testing, etc.) Manage Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social channels. This includes developing strategies, planning, publishing, responding, and identifying new channels to increase engagement with our congregation. Collaborate with filmmakers & photographers to create engaging content. This will include providing filmmakers & photographers direction on content needs to build a strong library of media. Create content for digital channels, including posts, stories, reels/shorts, etc. Content will drive engagement with Central's mission and tell stories of ministries & God working throughout our congregation. Collaborate with ministry leaders on content ideas and manage content production schedules for sub brands (College Central, Student Central, Kid Central, etc.) Qualifications Follower of Jesus Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (3-4 years) in marketing, communications, or related field. Strong portfolio showcasing skills in content writing, storytelling, social media experience, etc. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, etc. Skills Excellent writing abilities (long form, short form, scripts, captions, website content, campaigns, etc.) Ability to develop concepts and turn them into scripts, storyboards, etc. Ability to organize and maintain digital asset libraries. Ensure consistent brand voice, tone & quality across all content outputs. Attention to detail and a keen eye for brand aesthetics. Strong communication & interpersonal skills for collaboration. Ability to work both independently & collaboratively, depending on the project. Ability to receive feedback on content from ministry leaders & make changes accordingly. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, manage production timelines, and work under tight deadlines. Ideal, but not required, is experience with DSLR photography and associated editing software. Other Requirements Required to be on location at Central Church and participate in live events and shoots; most Sundays and some weeknight evenings included based on ministry event schedules. Willing to pursue membership at Central Church, including completing a membership class and believer's baptism.
