Summary:

Our client is looking for a Cost Financial Analyst to join their team! This role will focus on forecasting variances, analyzing manufacturing spend, and preparing detailed financial reports to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, experienced in cost accounting, and comfortable working with large data sets in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze revenue, manufacturing cost, and gross margin reports using standard cost
  • Forecast and analyze manufacturing variance accounts and spending using relevant cost drivers
  • Support budget and forecast processes for R&D and other departmental spending
  • Build, interpret, and present financial data clearly and accurately under tight deadlines
  • Organize and manage large data sets using advanced financial and analytical skills
  • Create analytical reports to monitor key business drivers and financial performance
  • Support revenue close processes and be responsible for specific components of global revenue accounting
  • Improve and automate Oracle system processes and reconciliation tasks
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial reports, cost projects, and revenue analyses
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, demonstrating a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience with standard cost and variance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to work

Education/Certification Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industries
  • Public accounting experience is preferred
