Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Financial Analyst to support the financial planning and analysis function within our manufacturing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting key cost and variance accounts, analyzing manufacturing spending, and developing actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Build, analyze, and interpret financial data under tight deadlines with high attention to detail
Develop reports analyzing revenue, manufacturing costs, and gross margin using standard costing methods
Forecast variance accounts and explain actual versus forecasted variances
Prepare and maintain manufacturing and R&D spending forecasts based on financial drivers
Support worldwide revenue close for assigned components
Create financial models and automated reports to monitor key business metrics and drivers
Assist with ad hoc revenue and cost analysis projects and management reporting
Continuously improve Oracle system processes, reconciliation automation, and reduce manual workflows
Collaborate on the annual budgeting and forecasting process
Effectively communicate complex financial insights to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and willingness to learn
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or FP&A
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
Hands-on experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
Excellent problem-solving and data interpretation skills
Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
Background in public accounting
Familiarity with variance analysis, standard cost systems, and gross margin reporting
Experience automating processes and optimizing data flows
