Summary of What you will be Doing in this Position Preparing comprehensive and competitive proposals for both private and public construction projects (educational, institutional, hospitality, multi-family, etc.) Project take-offs, pricing materials and labor, and creating preliminary budgets. Develop accurate and comprehensive proposals. Prepare and document quantity take-offs for materials and pricing. Review and compare accurate job costs; perform job site visits as needed. Evaluate bid documents and request material quotes.

Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of estimating experience required. BS degree in Construction or Engineering is preferable but not required. Experienced in hard bid, conceptual, and negotiated estimating. Knowledge of on-screen takeoff systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
