Job Overview of Clinician - Clinic Based Bilingual and Non Bilingual
The Clinic-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) as the primary clinician to assigned clients, (primarily children and adolescents) as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of comprehensive mental health services.
Essential Duties of Clinician - Clinic Based Bilingual and Non Bilingual
Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records
Provides a minimum of 25 billable hours of psychotherapy to clients (primarily children and adolescents) and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits
Promotes integrated, person-centered care
Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications
Serves as an after hours clinician on a rotating basis as scheduled
Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice
Supports overall strategic plan of the organization
Ability to adhere to our organization's core values and commitments
Essential Qualifications of Clinician - Clinic Based Bilingual and Non Bilingual
Key qualifications include:
Licensed or license-eligible professional (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT)
NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred.
Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescents and families
Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based Interventions
Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet session productivity standards
Ability to access and utilize ADP app on smartphone or other device for access to agency programs
Physical/Travel Requirements of Clinician - Clinic Based Bilingual and Non Bilingual
Must have ability to reach, walk, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, lift up to 20lbs
Able to travel; Driver’s license required
