Job Overview of Clinician - Clinic Based Bilingual The Bilingual (Spanish) Clinic-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) as the primary clinician to assigned clients as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of comprehensive mental health services. Essential Duties of Bilingual Clinician-Clinic Based Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records Provides a minimum of 25 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits Promotes integrated, person-centered care Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications Serves as an after hour clinician on a rotating basis as scheduled Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice
Essential Qualifications of Bilingual Clinician-Clinic Based Key qualifications include: Licensed or license-eligible professional (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT) NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred. Physical/Travel Requirements Must have ability to reach, walk, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, lift up to 20lbs Able to travel; Driver’s license required
