You will operate a range of heavy and light duty trucks and equipment, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs, primarily at customer sites in Syracuse NY. Operate commercial trucks and assist your coworkers in a team-based environment. Load and unload materials while performing manual labor on-site to fulfill customer needs. Ensure vehicles are properly placarded according to Company and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and other reports. Comply with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. Participate in emergency response on a rotating basis. Engage in tasks involving site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling as required. Qualifications: Must have a valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. Familiarity with mobile devices and ability to perform physical tasks as required by the job. Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination. Meet facial hair standards as required under OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard. Preferred Qualifications: Previous commercial driving experience is advantageous. Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Experience with hazardous materials. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Experience in manual labor is a plus.
