Position Overview: Delivery Operators in food and foodservice delivery play a vital role in the nation's food supply chain. Not only will you ensure that customer orders reach their destinations safely and on time, but you will also represent our company and build lasting customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include: Professional communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Team collaboration and versatility in task performance within the organization. Conducting required safety checks (i.e., pre/post-trip inspections) for trucks and trailers in compliance with DOT regulations. Reporting safety issues and addressing repairs as needed. Adhering to all DOT regulations and company driving policies. Receiving and unloading delivered products while verifying quantities and securing customer signatures. Managing customer returns and ensuring the proper documentation is completed. Maintaining accurate logs of service hours as per federal, state, and company requirements. Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the loading dock and vehicle. Completing all necessary paperwork and securing equipment at the end of each shift. Qualifications: Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A CDL and DOT Health Card. Must be at least 21 years old. Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years. Pass a post-offer drug test and background check. Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting products ranging from 10 to 90 pounds.
