As a CDL-A Delivery Truck Operator, your responsibilities will include: Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and submitting DOT inspection reports. Ensuring accuracy of the bill of lading and managing keys during off-hour deliveries. Driving the tractor-trailer to designated locations, demonstrating knowledge of commercial driving regulations. Maintaining a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, including delivery receipt and product temperature documentation. Unloading the trailer and delivering products into customer premises. Performing other assigned duties as needed. To be a successful CDL-A Teammate, you should meet the following qualifications: Minimum age of 21 years. Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience. Must comply with McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding instructions and safety protocols.
