Qualifications: • Must hold a valid teaching certificate and meet Highly Qualified Teacher status requirements • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrate problem solving skills that address challenges that may arise in the classroom • Promote creative thinking opportunities for students • Value a collaborative approach to teaching and learning • Have a strong literacy background and an understanding of best practices and literacy essentials • Incorporate the principles of design thinking into planning and teaching
