Womenâ€TMs Services Labor and Delivery RN This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus for twenty-four-month FT commitment and a housing allowance of $1,000, grossed up, for up twelve months for a new hire who relocates. Relocation assistance is also available. Schedule: 3,12-hour night shifts/week, including rotating weekends and holidays. How youâ€TMll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Responsibilities include: Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Qualifications: What weâ€TMre looking for Applicants should have a current NM RN or compact license and possess an associate or bachelorâ€TMs degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Certifications: BLS upon hire NRP and ACLS within six months of hire or transfer into position Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetal Monitoring and STABLE within one year of hire or transfer into position. New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association certifications. Notwithstanding this †̃grace periodâ€TM for obtaining American Heart Association certifications, employees are not excused from being current in all existing certifications that are required for their position as outlined in the position job description.
