The Website and Social Media Content Specialist is a new position supporting the evolving Communications department. This role is responsible for implementing brand positioning and content strategy through the development and management of digital content across our websites and social media platforms. This individual will help maintain fresh, accurate, and timely content by collaborating with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders, coordinating approvals, managing publication timelines, and monitoring performance analytics. The role supports both MacKay Sposito and Riparia Environmental and plays a key part in integrating digital content from future mergers and acquisitions. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day content for WordPress websites (MacKay Sposito and Riparia Environmental) Support the launch of a new MacKay Sposito website (Fall 2025) and refresh of Riparia Environmental’s site Create and post social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Maintain and implement content calendars Proactively engage with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to uncover, develop, and gain approval for content topics Write, edit, and adapt content across formats and channels Shoot and edit photos or videos for digital channels Track and analyze performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Analytics Recommend adjustments based on analytics to improve engagement and results Support web and social integration during mergers and acquisitions
Qualifications 2+  years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or communications Experience managing WordPress and posting social content Strong writing and storytelling abilities Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and digital asset management systems Organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented Preferred Bachelors in Communications, Marketing or a related field Experience in the AEC industry Understanding of web accessibility (ADA compliance) Experience with GA4 Analytics & Reporting Video, motion graphic, animation experience and graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite Experience in brand transitions or multi-brand/multi-location management Why Join Us At MacKay Sposito, we are guided by values and driven by impact. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations. The wage range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00/hour depending on experience. Full time employees receive a well rounded benefit package including access to our company sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans as well as company paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company 401k plan with up to a 4% match Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual profit sharing bonuses. Employment requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
