Job Purpose Manage warehouse operation to ensure the efficient and economical utilization for storing, reconditioning and distributing finished goods inventories. Ensure warehouse workloads run at full capacity.
Responsibilities
Operations Management: Manage warehouse planning and work schedules to ensure on-time, accurate, and complete delivery of EFCO equipment. Responsible for meeting customer requirements. Monitor productivity of shipping, receiving, reconditioning, and storage employees using appropriate metrics. Implement procedural changes to improve efficiency. Ensure safety regulations and regulatory requirements are followed.
Distribution: Direct trucking and shipping operations. Responsible for shipment scheduling and adjustments. Conduct daily equipment reallocation to maximize lease pool utilization and minimize freight costs. Coordinate shipments with internal and external customers. Inspect materials for quality and inventory accuracy.
Equipment Management: Manage equipment returns and ensure compliance with return procedures. Move equipment into reconditioning for scheduled shipments or lease pool requirements. Contact customers for damaged or unreturned equipment issues to resolve.
Management and Supervision: Foster a work environment aligned with EFCO’s Core Values of QUALITY, INTEGRITY, INNOVATION, and SUPER SERVICE. Drive continuous improvement and process excellence. Manage team retention and grow institutional knowledge.
