Warehouse S&R Clerk

A warehouse clerk plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring that products are properly stored and shipped. Responsible for orchestrating the movements and storage of goods in a warehouse. Monitors and controls all warehouse/receiving stock movements to ensure that the systems perpetual inventory correctly reflects the actual physical inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Direct efforts of warehouse activities.
• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to work in cold/freezing conditions
• Must have two years of forklift experience
• Perform weekly cycle counts.
• Oversee the activities of the warehouse and coordinate shipping docks to effectively support outbound operations.
• Assure all inventory control procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Assure all incoming products are received from vendors and production correctly.
• Assure all outgoing finished products are shipped on time and correctly to avoid premium freight costs and shipped with appropriate lot codes.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.

Physical Requirements:

• Employees must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. onto waist-high shelves.
• Employees must have the ability to carry/lift to 10-55 lbs.
• Frequent bending at waist/knees
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers.
• Exposure to a multi-temp, food production environment.
• Required to work in refrigerated and frozen environments, near noisy machinery, and confined spaces as part of daily production activities.
