Why should you consider a position as a Shipping Receiving Clerk?

• 1st Shift: 8:30am 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
• $16.00 per hour
• Temp-to-hire Job Opportunity

What's a typical day as a Shipping Receiving Clerk? You'll be:

• Preparing, packaging, and shipping outbound shipments from warehouse
• Stocks and stores the warehouse with equipment and supplies
• Receives inbound shipments and stores packages as appropriate in designated area
• Ensuring accuracy in distribution forms, requisitions, purchase order forms, and packaging slips, delivering them to the appropriate personnel.
• Loading and unloading pallets on trucks by using a pallet jack: Build and break down pallets.
• Responsible for confirming accuracy of package count against signed daily delivery sheet
• Assists in completing periodic inventory count
• Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, clean, and safe manner

You may be a good fit for this position, if:

• You have hands-on warehouse and warehouse clerk experience (preferred)
• Comfortable using computers in a warehouse setting to document, look up product and locations, and create and print labels.
• You can lift up to 40lbs: Walk the entire shift
• Experienced with manual and/or electric pallet jacks
• You can work OT as needed
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent
